Ring-side Seats at the World's Greatest Events

Many of Britain's most impressive events take place either at sea or along the coastline. Spectating at these events from your own luxury yacht has to be the ultimate experience.

Imagine sipping champagne after a fabulous meal whilst you gaze at a firework spectacular in splendid isolation - it's as though the show was put on just for you! There are many events to choose from - particularly between the Solent and West Country and we've listed the most popular here.

COWES WEEK

6th to 13th August 2011

Cowes Week 2010There's nothing to compare with Cowes Week - the oldest and largest annual sailing regatta in the World. The event boasts an eight-day schedule combining competitive racing and great fun for the 8,000 competitors and 80,000 spectators who enjoy a fantastic line up of entertainment day and night.

Clarity provides the finest hospitality available throughout these 8 days aboard our luxury motor yachts. Guests will be collected from their mainland departure point and whisked straight to the centre of the action. We provide detailed race cards for each day's activity and the itinerary includes a trip in to the Event Village in Cowes.

The ultimate day is on Friday when the famous Grand Fireworks Display takes place. Conducted from a pontoon moored in the Solent, hundreds of vessels - from pleasure steamers to small powerboats - lie at anchor, whilst the shore is packed with thousands of spectators watching the fireworks light up the sea and night sky with an amazing burst of colour.

We have now released availability for 2011 which is selling fast! Our prices include everything you need for the day including gourmet lunch on board and VAT. We won't be beaten on price so if you find the same yacht package for a cheaper rate elsewhere, we'll always aim to beat it!

ROUND THE ISLAND RACE

25th June 2011

Round the Island RaceHeld annually, this is the World's largest single yacht race of its type, with boats of all shapes and sizes competing on handicap in an anti-clockwise race around the Isle of Wight. In recent years, there have been as many as 1,800 boats and over 14,500 competitors.

The race around the Island's 60 miles of coastline offers many opportunities for guests aboard our yachts to view the activities close at hand, especially around the Needles and along the south coast and our high speed and manouverability means we can get right to the heart of the action wherever it may be.

Chartering a motor yacht for this event is perfect for those wanting to be there but not wanting to take part - just sit back, relax and watch everyone else do all the hard work!

We have now released availability for the 2011 event. If you wish to book one of our larger yachts we advise to book early as they sell quickly. Please call for further details on 0800 44 88 001 or complete our contact form.

LITTLE BRITAIN CHALLENGE CUP

16th to 19th September 2010

Little Britain 2010The Little Britain Challenge Cup - the construction industry regatta, is held in Cowes on the Isle of Wight - home of world yachting. It allows everyone from MDs and designers to quantity surveyors and builders to escape the world of breezeblocks and blue prints and rub shoulders with notable faces in the sailing world, for a couple of days sailing in the Solent.

The 250-yacht event is now the largest industry event in Europe and is the biggest in Britain after Cowes Week and Clarity provides indulgent hospitality for those not taking part including wives, girlfriends and those who just don't have the energy!

Costs for this event are the same as for our Main Season hospitality rates and include a full bar, gourmet catering and trip ashore to the Event Village.

DARTMOUTH ROYAL REGATTA

26th to 28th August 2010

Dartmouth Royal RegattaThe Port of Dartmouth lies nestled among some of the UK's most picturesque scenery and is home to this prestigious event each year. The number of events organised for the three event days ensures that visitors will never want for spectacles to watch - for those who wish to actively participate there are sports of every description and other events ranging from pavement drawing to crab fishing. The firework display on the final evening is watched by over 200,000 people who line Dartmouth and Kingswear banks of the river.

Of course the best way to view the festivities is aboard your own luxury yacht - this year in addition to the fireworks there is a Battle of Britain Air Display on Wednesday August 25th at 5.30pm, the Red Arrows will return on Friday August 27th at 5.30pm the Typhoon (Eurofighter) arrives on Saturday August 28th.

Clarity offers bespoke hospitality days aboard our West Country based crewed yachts. Please call us on 0800 44 88 001 to discuss the various charter options we can offer for this very popular event.
