Pre Charter

We realise that your event begins long before you've set out to sea. From the moment you confirm your booking the excitement will be building along with questions and ideas. You'll have a dedicated event consultant to contact who you'll soon get to know and will help with any queries
you may have, and there's always someone to contact 7 days a week, every day of the year in case they're not available. Your Skipper and crew will be allocated a week or two before your event and you can make direct contact with them if you wish. Full joining instructions are sent out via e-mail and in the post around 10 days before.

'Clarity Control'

Our on-line reservation system and client area is available for you 24 hours a day. Once you've made a reservation, all the details are held within the system which can be accessed with your e-mail address and password from this website. You can review your reservation, make any balance payments, build and add a bespoke itinerary, create and add catering options, view maps, joining instructions and marina plans (to ensure you arrive at the right location!) and you can now contact your skipper or event consultant via our new messaging system - with any question you don't want to pick up the phone for!

On the Day

The day has finally arrived and you're raring to go. Your Skipper will have called you the day before just to confirm that you're OK with everything and confirm where someone will meet you. On the morning itself (or at the agreed time for a part day charter) a member of crew will meet you at the pre-designated spot and show you to your yacht. You'll want a few minutes to settle in and have a look around to make yourself at home before the Skipper will take you through an important safety briefing. From then on, just sit back, relax and enjoy - all drinks, food and any other plans will be served up at the appropriate moments!

Those Special Touches

Just some of the things we do to make your day easier and more enjoyable:

Breakfast - A complimentary breakfast is provided for all charters that start before 10.00am.
Digital Cameras - Digital cameras are provided on every yacht to allow to capture those special moments - we'll upload the images to your own private part of our website for you and your guests to view and download immediately after your event.
Soft Drinks, Tea & Coffee - A selection of soft drinks, tea, coffee and water are provided free on every charter

...and of course, if you can think of anything else we'll be happy to help.

Your Skipper

All our Skippers are fully qualified and hold either a minimum of RYA Coastal Skipper or a local authority 'Boatmans' license - most are RYA Yachtmasters. They have all been chosen for their youthful outlook (even though some may not be as youthful as they once were!), personality, experience and knowledge. The Skipper will present the range of itinerary options available to you at the start of the charter and keep you constantly informed of any options along the way dependant on weather conditions, sea state and location. Remember, you are free to request stops or changes of intinerary at any time. All we ask is that the skipper's instructions with regard to safety are observed at all times.

Your Crew

You will also have at least one experienced crew member on board. The crew member will assist the Skipper in everything from berthing manouevres to doing the washing up! All our crew have extensive boating experience and many are building miles to become qualified skippers. Again they are chosen especially for their personality, experience and attitude and will do their utmost to make your stay on board as enjoyable as possible.

At the end of your Charter

All good things come to an end, and as you tie up in the marina you'll know your time is almost up. Your Skipper and crew have probably become friends throughout the day and if they're not going anywhere will be more than happy to share a glass of wine with you before a sad farewell. Its always the hardest part for us - trying to prise you away from the yacht! It usually means you've got the bug and will want to return again and again and of course we'll still be here to welcome you back. We always value your feedback and will usually drop you a line to check that everything went well.
